Why the Arts Matter in Early Childhood Education
Why do we use the arts to complement preschool education? Because a young child at an early age is full of energy, curiosity, and a desire to explore and learn, but they have not yet internalized the routines of formal learning.
Pikitin has developed professional development programs inspired by the arts that will provide educators with the necessary tools to create an inclusive and productive classroom.
Explore the diverse avenues of artistic expression that contribute to finding a balance between productive play, creative thinking, and structure. Also, keep in mind that Pikitin provides educators with completion certificates, in-service hours, and offers continuing education units (CEUs) in its courses.
